However, several of the schools we interviewed proved to have solid criteria and offered an accredited and quality degree.

Four of the top employment and education verification companies offered advice on the quality and completeness of online universities. Among the most recognized universities, were Randford University and the University of Phoenix. Randford University (http://www.randford.org) ranked the highest and actually rejected 3 out of 5 of our test applications. For those that were accepted, an extensive evaluation of life experience and past education were examined. In addition, they offered free online courses to augment any deficiencies in the curriculum. The University of Phoenix (http://www.phoenix.edu) fared well but extended the process beyond what we considered acceptable. The third in our evaluation was Almeda University (http://www.almedauniversity.org). This institution did not offer enough information for a complete evaluation. However, the criteria seemed to be much more of a degree mill than an actual university. Much more evaluation will be needed to determine the true details of this organization.

Other factors are important as well, such as self-motivation, self-discipline, and responsibility. With the business world as demanding as it is today, it comes down to degrees and certificates. There are hundreds of colleges and courses to choose from and each one benefits a person in a different way. It can help you achieve the criteria needed in your career to advance in your status.

A Panamanian-led, multidisciplinary research team has published the first description of non-expanded fat stem cells in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis patients. “Autologous Stromal Vascular Fraction Therapy for Rheumatoid Arthritis: Rationale and Clinical Safety,” which appears in the January publication of the International Archives of Medicine, followed 13 rheumatoid arthritis patients who were treated with their own fat-derived stem cells.

Treating arthritis with fat-derived stem cells has become commonplace in veterinary medicine over the past five years with over 7,000 horses and dogs treated by publication contributor Vet-Stem, a San Diego-based company. The objective of the joint Panamanian-US study was to determine feasibility of translating Vet-Stem’s successful animal results into human patients.

Observing no treatment associated adverse reactions after one year, the team concluded that its protocol should be studied further to determine efficacy in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. An important distinction that separates this particular approach from those which are being explored by several international investigators is that the fat stem cells were not grown in a laboratory, affording a substantially higher level of safety and protocol practicality.

The treatment procedure involves a mini-liposuction, collection of the fat’s cellular component, processing to obtain a population of cells that includes stem cells, freezing the cells in preparation for quality control, and subsequent re-administration of the cells into patients.

The Panamanian-US group has previously shown that there is a specific type of T cell, called the T regulatory cell, associated with fat stem cells, which is capable of suppressing pathological immunity. Their current theory, which is described in detail in the publication: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20537320, is that the T regulatory component of the fat is capable of slowing down or suppressing the “autoimmune” reaction, while the stem cell component causes formation of new tissue to replace the damaged joints.

Deep Draw cartridge heater

Chromalox, a leading manufacturer of electric heat and control products, announces the introduction of the innovative Deep Draw cartridge heater, model C-DD. The sheaths of Deep Draw cartridge heaters are made from a progressive deep draw process that begins with a singular disc of material. The disc is drawn and annealed repeatedly until the tube is finished to specified sheath dimensions. The end product is a contiguous sheath similar to a test tube. Chromalox is the first industrial heater manufacturer to introduce this new deep draw cartridge heater technology.

The conventional cartridge heater manufacturing process requires a heli-arc weld joint to secure the end disc to the sheath’s tubing. These weld joints are subject to pin holes and weld imperfections, which can result in moisture ingress and catastrophic failures. Additionally, the heli-arc weld process does alter the chemical composition of the sheath material as carbide precipitates will rise to the surface of the material itself, increasing the probability of accelerated corrosion.

Since the Deep Draw construction features a single disc of parent material that is progressively drawn until reaching final dimension, the entire unit is effectively seamless. The benefit of seamless tubing is that there is no chemical alteration of the alloy properties induced by the welding process, therefore yielding a superior tubing material. The Deep Draw construction offers an element of additional safety to customers with stringent and critical applications. In medical and analytical instrumentation, or products where leakage current is of particular concern, the Deep Draw construction eliminates the concern of potential moisture ingress due to faulty welds.

This is something Krispy Kreme does every year because of the high response they have received from this advertisment. Men’s Warehouse is sending out a, “Celebrate the love” mailer that offers 40% off all tuxedo rentals. Even some schools are taking advantage of the atmosphere during this time of the year. Kaplan University sent out a postcard that stated, “Looking for commitment this Valentine’s Day?” Recipients who were interested in the University were then given the option to scan a QR code or visit the schools site.

At times when people are more nostalgic marketers see a better response from traditional advertising channels. The companies who have done direct mail in the past are aware from this. When is the last time a wife, girlfriend, or mother has expressed their appreciation for the endearing facebook post? Letters and postcards convey thoughtfulness that cannot be accomplished through digital channels and also reach a whole different audience. Next month sees the First Ever Scottish Dedicated Tractor Show take place at The Lawrie and Symington Agricultural Centre. This is the first time the event has been held indoors and the brand new auction mart building in Lanark is the perfect setting for this hugely popular two day show. Always guaranteed to attract thousands of farmers, enthusiasts and specialist collectors when it’s been hosted in England, the organisers of this show promise exhibits of both modern and vintage tractors, farm implements and spares, models, tools, and the infamous auction of classic tractors.

For those working in farming, leading tractor manufacturers including Massey Ferguson, John Deere and New Holland will be displaying their latest, top of the range tractors for farmers and enthusiasts to view up close. There will also be an auction of obsolete spares, and a number of parts dealers exhibiting on site.

The Scottish Tractor Show will also offer a great day out for members of the public, particularly those with an interest in farming. Stands will include an exhibition of old-time farming from The Museum of Scottish Country Life and the students from Dumfries based, Barony Agricultural College will be rebuilding a tractor over the weekend. Beginner level Japanese classes through advanced levels (PhD and post-graduate) are offered in group and private/semi-private settings. JLC also offers on-site (your place) lessons. Interested individuals may learn more by viewing http://www.japanese-language.net on the internet.

JLC has excellent instructors. All of them are Master’s Degree/MBA/PhD holders with several years experience as University faculty, or the equivalent. Their teaching method is unique and you will learn not only Japanese language, but also Japanese culture/history.

The Master Instructor, Junko is a former professor of Japanese language at Morehouse College, Atlanta for several years. In addition, she was an instructor on the nationally televised Japanese Language Program produced by Georgia Public Television for five years. She has been a guest speaker for “Japanese Language Education” at the Asian Network International Conference.

In addition to offering Japanese Language and Culture classes at the Bellevue location, JLC also provides Japanese language instructors on-site to Japanese companies to assist in the education of their American workers in business level Japanese language and corporate culture.
